The mission of St. Irenaeus High Scholl Youth Ministry is to develop faith, provide service, and have fun. Youth in grades nine through twelve meet twice per month in the school building to grow in their Catholic faith through Bible study, discussion and reflection. An emphasis is also placed on service where the youth engage in various projects that benefit the parish and community such as baking and caroling for shut-ins of our parish, Advent Jesse Stations, collecting for the Souper Bowl of Caring and serving the homeless at the Jubilee Soup Kitchen.
While all youth interact regularly, high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to focus on pertinent issues related to college search and selection as well as preparing for the many challenges of college life. The Sunday evening meeting time is 7:00 to 8:30. Please contact our High School Youth Ministry leader with any questions.
