The Ladies of Charity is a national organization of Catholic women dedicated “to serve rather than be served”. A few of the St. Irenaeus Ladies of Charity activities include remembering the sick and shut-ins of our parish through visits and holiday cards, assisting with the Anointing Mass and Remembrance Mass, and sponsoring the Advent Giving Tree to provide gifts to local families in need.
Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. usually on the first Monday of each month. There are no meetings in January, February, July and August. In September, the ministry convenes on another day besides the first Monday of the month, since that day is Labor Day. All women of the parish are welcome! If interested in joining, please contact our St. Irenaeus Ladies of Charity president.
