CHERIE MANTARRO Allegheny Intermediate Unit Reading/Math Specialist	BA in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, Mercyhurst College, Erie PA. 1993 M.Ed in Reading, university of Pittsburgh with Reading Specialist Certificate, 2000 Nominated three times for the Golden Apple Teacher Award Worked for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for four years and has serviced St. Irenaeus School for all four of those years Previously worked as a substitute teacher for St. Bede School and also taught 7th and 8th grade religion classes at St. Bede School Taught 3rd Grade CCD at St. Bede, 1998 Member of the PSEA and NEA
MRS. MARY A. LOERA Spanish K-8	BA , University of Pittsburgh, dual certification in Spanish and English Taught Spanish at Penn Hills High School upon graduation. Taught Spanish at Amphitheater Junior High in Tucson, Arizona Tutor of Profoundly Deaf Children for six years in Conjunction with Penn Hills H.S. Substitute at St. Bartholomew School in Penn Hills for six years. Created “Junior High Spanish” Program at St. Bartholomew School in 1994-present. Spanish Teacher at St. Joseph School, Verona PA for three years Member of the NCEA 1996-2005. Spanish Teacher for Grades K-8 at St. Irenaeus School, Oakmont PA from 1994-present.
